Planned and Secure Transfer

Transfer Process with an EPP Code

Before transfer, unlock the domain at its current registrar and obtain a valid EPP authorisation code. Keep the registrant email accessible so verification notices can be approved promptly.

When the transfer request is created, the extension, remaining registration period and ownership details are checked. Unless DNS records are changed separately, website and email routing continue with the existing settings.

1. Unlock the domain

Disable the transfer lock at the current registrar and verify your contact details.

2. Get the EPP code

Enter the domain-specific transfer code only in the secure transaction form.

3. Verify the request

Complete the email approvals and track the transfer from your customer account.

Frequently asked questions

About domain transfers

Will my website go offline during transfer?

A transfer alone does not interrupt website or email service as long as DNS records remain unchanged.

Where can I get the EPP code?

Obtain the code from the control panel or authorised support channel at your current registrar.

How long does a transfer take?

Timing varies by extension rules and registrant approvals. The domain is checked before the request begins.
